Held in honor of the late, great discomycetologist, Dr. Richard P. Korf, the Korf Foray is North America’s first and only ascomycete-focused taxonomic retreat, located in the heart of the hyper-biodiverse temperate rainforests of the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains in western North Carolina.
